What's new in the DAT - September 2026
The September 2026 version of the DAT is now available.
Alongside a round of bug fixes, it brings a set of new features: on-the-fly filtering, new video tools, support for bit-level status channels, a better function search dialog, custom driver colors, easier sector cut filtering, and a new mobile view.
Here's a quick tour of everything new in September.
Slicer - filter your data on the fly
You can now define filters that grey out or remove data points instantly, without touching your page configuration.
Once a filter is set up, a dedicated panel lets you pick the range of values to grey out or remove, and the charts update as you adjust it.

The Slicer can also be used to filter a chart directly, without displaying the panel at all.
Video - download, chain laps and embed YouTube
Video playback gets three upgrades in this release:
Download button: save the video currently playing in one click.
Per-lap playlists: configure a page where lap videos play one after another, so you can review a whole run.
YouTube embeds: YouTube videos can now be embedded directly in your pages.
Bitmap - one alert per bit, one channel per bit
Status channels that pack one alert per bit are now fully supported with the new Bitmap feature.

Each bit can be given its own name and then used like a separate channel. You can also display them all at once in a brand-new chart type, the Status matrix, to see at a glance which alerts were active and when.
Driver colours

You can now assign alternative colours to each driver. You can also choose which legend filter applies the colour, or turn off the default colour entirely in every charts.
Sector cut
Sector filters are now built directly from the sector cuts configured in Sector cut filters, with no extra admin setup needed. The big win: add the "Sector cut" filter to a page, and its tabs will follow the sector cut you've selected. This also works with repeated charts and x-axes.

Mobile view
The mobile view has been reworked, making it much easier to browse the DAT from your phone. Page editing remains desktop-only.
Other improvements
Better autocomplete and search dialog: Autocompletion has been improved and now comes with full-text search. Open it with Ctrl+F or simply click in the search field.

Full-screen pages: standard (non-fully customizable) pages can now be displayed full screen, hiding the filter bar and menus so your data gets all the space.
